PARADIGM explores the power of the mind and its implications for humanity via the cosmic connection between Rachel Moore and Brett McCarthy. Theirs is a love story of Shakespearean proportions, with a twist: the Universe doesn’t want to keep these star-crossed lovers apart. It longs -- needs -- to bring them together. The two warring families are represented by Krios Enterprises and the Institute of Consciousness (IoC). Krios' partnership with NASA has a primary directive: to travel within our solar system and beyond, looking for the next hospitable home for humanity. However, Krios is less focused on manned missions and more interested in a new means of space travel: teleportation. In contrast, the IoC believes consciousness is the final frontier, and therefore not interested in space travel. Rachel and Brett must navigate these factions, leading not to a family crypt, but to an entangled moment across space and time, and the extraordinary that lies dormant within them. |

"Inserting an engaging story line into leading edge science can be challenging. It has to avoid oversimplifying the science while at the same time over-embellishing what is known. I think you've made a good mixture here that will work.
....nearly everyone, including scientists and engineers, have had these experiences. But few are willing to talk about it in public. So a story that capitalizes on the raw experience, with some artistic license to push it, would not be seen as outlandish or fantasy, but as a reflection of reality. The more that this taboo is broken, the better for everyone. We are attempting to break the taboo from the scientific side, but the entertainment world also plays an important role, just like Close Encounters did for UFOs. "We're not passengers on Spaceship Earth. We're the crew."
